ARTIST IN RESIDENCE
Kimberly Ange is a self-taught Barbadian-American artist who lives and works in Massachusetts. She gravitates towards oil, acrylic, watercolor, digital {spleening} symmetry and ink on canvas, board or paper.
Kimberly Ange was born in St Michaels, Barbados. She immigrated to the US in 2001 and settled in Boston.
Kimberly's content is drawn from her memories of the tropics, the dangers
and freedoms of the rain forests . Examining the interactional similarities between the human body, wild flowers and reptiles. She dives deeper into the repetitive nature of the human experience and how it links to vegetational cycles and natural occurrences. Playfully linking the parallel between human behaviors , anatomy and plant life.
